If you are at the point in your life where you are ready to make a personal commitment to follow Christ, all you have to do is reach out to Him now in prayer. He is listening and waiting to come into your heart and help you live a better life. Will you invite Him in now? If you'd like to pray and receive Christ as your Savior, you can use this simple prayer as a guide:

"Lord Jesus, I ask You to come into my life and forgive me of all my sins. I confess my sins before You this day. I denounce satan and all his works. I confess Jesus as the Lord of my life. Thank You for saving me. I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that You rose from the dead. I am saved. Write my name in the Lamb's book of life. Today is my God-day with the Lord Jesus! I pray this prayer to the Father in the name of Jesus. Amen."

If you just prayed this prayer, please e-mail, mail, or call my ministry to let us know. We'd like to send you a free booklet called Understanding Salvation, to help you understand a little more about this new life in Christ.

Our Vision

Opiyo International Ministries has one goal: To share God's message of salvation through Jesus Christ with the world. We want everyone to have an opportunity to know the real Jesus. Approachable, personable, compassionate and full of joy, that's the Jesus that Timothy and Joy knows and loves. And it's their mission in life to make sure everyone on earth has an opportunity to know Him too.

Through video and audio tapes, Christian literature and revival meetings,
, Opiyo Interational Ministries is reaching out with the Gospel in a way that is captivating the lost and turning hardened hearts back to their first love. People are responding to the joyful, down-to-earth, and zealous ministry of Timothy Opiyo. Most of all, they're realizing the freedom, simplicity and joy that comes from being at peace with God and in love with His Son, Jesus.

At OIM, we're committed to keeping our focus uncluttered, pure and simple, just like Christianity is supposed to be. We're proud to have one vision, one goal, one mission. World Evangelism. It's our passion! And, we invite you to join with us and make it your passion too

And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with salt; you shall not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your grain offering. With all your offerings you shall offer salt" (Leviticus 2:13, NKJV).

There are two major covenants in the Bible, the blood covenant and the salt covenant. We are saved through the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the blood covenant. But the salt covenant depends on you.

In Leviticus 2:13, God commanded that no offering would be put before him without "the salt of the covenant."

Jesus said in Mark 9:49: "For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another."

We are living in a crucial time when we need to be salt to the world! We need to pour the salt of consecration and holiness on the bread of the Gospel. Don't just offer the bread of life, live it! The world is looking for it. Souls desperately need it.

Live in purity as we share the Good News and the message will penetrate through to those in need of God's word. God didn't send us to be sugar, He sent us to be salt!

In 2 Kings 2:19-22, the Bible says Elisha went into a city where the water was bad and the "ground barren." What was the solution? Salt. Elisha cast salt on the water at the source and the water was restored and the city healed.

Jesus Christ is the bread of the world. But you and I are the salt. If we want our families, those around us and the world to partake of the bread of life, we must make it tasty. We must pour salt on it by living it. They must see the holiness, the righteousness and the separation. They need to see the power behind the salt covenant.

Creation craves salt. Our human bodies crave salt and will die without it. The church is the body of Christ . . . and we as Christians are the church. Like our human bodies, our spiritual bodies cannot survive without salt. If we lose our salt, we will die spiritually. I want to challenge you today to be not just a hearer of the Word, but be a doer. Get salty! Live your life for God so that others may see His influence in your actions, your relationships, your business dealings and so much more.
